Your child’s discharge day is decided and approved by their attending physician, bearing in mind the safety and health of their young patients. The attending physician will also give you medical instructions, which you must follow after your child is discharged.
If you require help to return home, speak to the ward supervisor who will arrange for an ambulance transfer, if you wish, or for a taxi to pick you up at the Hospital entrance. If you are insured with Interamerican, you may call the Health line on 1010 and find out the transfer/transportation options available to you through your insurance policy.
